Survey of earthquake damage by small aerial drone (SOTEN)

summary
SOTEN is a domestically produced small aerial photography drone with security measures for flight data, shooting data, and communications. In times of emergency, it can photograph isolated villages, landslides, port damage, etc., and generate orthoimages.
Technical Strengths
Security measures based on ISO 15408 (international standard for computer security) are applied to prevent data leakage and extraction, and to provide resistance to hijacking of the aircraft. Major parts of the aircraft are made in Japan or procured from overseas with high reliability, and security is enhanced through encryption of communication and shooting data.
Case Studies (Including Demonstration Results)
- Municipalities served
- Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture
- Case Studies
- Landslide survey, road collapse damage: Drone survey contributed to the initial investigation by providing an overall picture of land cracks.
Survey of damage to isolated villages: In addition to a survey conducted by the SDF on foot, aerial photography was used to confirm the extent of damage.
Survey of damage to the fishing port: While the road to the fishing port had not been restored, aerial photography was used to capture a wide area and close-range shots from land were taken as capture photos.
Survey of potential sites for temporary housing construction: We checked for cracks in the ground and other damage. Since most of the sites had evacuation centers attached to them, we briefed the evacuation centers about the flights in advance and flew them in as safe a manner as possible.
- scale of implementation
- The survey of 11 locations was completed in a windy and snowy environment.
- Time to delivery
- negotiable
- Price (if paid)
- Paid (trial price)
How to use in peacetime
The wind-resistant, dustproof, and waterproof aircraft is equipped with an easy-to-understand user interface that can be operated by anyone, so that it can be used for surveys of large-scale forests and buildings, even in normal times.
A small, scalable aircraft can be proposed to meet your needs.
