The University of Ishikawa Prefecture has released a press release announcing the participation in this project by the university's venture company, Environmental Microbiology Research Institute Co.

Mr. Yasunori Baba, President of Environmental Microbiology Laboratory, Inc. is also an associate professor in the Natural Energy Utilization Team at Ishikawa Prefectural University.

The Natural Energy Utilization Team (Professor Hiroshi Takimoto, Associate Professor Toshihiko Momose, Lecturer Takamasa Kusunobe, and Associate Professor Yasunori Baba) is studying ways to utilize natural energy sources such as hydropower, geothermal, and biomass to supply energy in times of emergency.
