15 Years after the Great East Japan Earthquake - Resilience Technology Born from Researchers' Passion to the Nation and the World

Fifteen years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011.

Many of the technologies and products of the ventures listed in this "Liverness Resilience Project" were created in the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake.

These are technologies that researchers and engineers have shaped through trial and error in the face of challenges that have arisen in the field, and each one is truly the fruit of blood, sweat, and tears.

On the other hand, the mere existence of technology is not enough to truly solve society's problems.
There are still many issues to be addressed in social implementation, and we believe that the real challenge lies ahead.

RIVERNESS will work as a team with researchers, venture companies, corporations, local governments, and the community to implement these resilience technologies throughout Japan and around the world.
We will continue to deliver knowledge and technology to the field to realize a flexible and tolerant society against disasters and social uncertainties.

This initiative begins in the community.
