Bangkok, Thailand, January 30, 2026
Ruchira Karjee of Leave a Nest Singapore gave a presentation on the "LVNS Resilience Project" at the Hybrid Innovation Conference (HIC) Thailand 2026 in Thailand.
This project aims to create a sustainable and resilient city in Southeast Asia as an initiative that embodies the LIVERNESS Group's vision of "Advancement of Science and Technology and Realization of Global Contribution".
Project Background
In recent years, La Niña has increased the risk of heavy rainfall, flooding, and landslides in Southeast Asia, and by 2025, thousands of lives will have been lost in the region. In order to face these challenges, we will bring together technologies from around the world and work together across all divides, including language, culture, and national borders, to realize a sustainable society.
Project Framework
This project is,Forecast → Detect → Decide → Respond → RecoverIt is based on five phases and consists of the following four pillars: 1.
- Introducing Systems Thinking in Early Education - Students learn systems thinking and understand how to solve complex social problems
- System assignment challenge at the university level - Interdisciplinary teams tackle Thailand's resilience challenges
- Accelerated Resiliency Technology Program - Support for demonstration in Thailand of related technologies owned by overseas startups and companies
- Building an innovation ecosystem - Creating a sustainable mechanism through industry-academia-government collaboration
At this year's HIC Thailand, the significance of this project and its specific initiatives were introduced to researchers, entrepreneurs, and government officials in Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries.
Going forward, the LIVERNESS Group will continue to work with partners around the world to solve global issues through science and technology.
